I chose Tara Affinity because it reflects my opening into expansive love, in a muli-layered way.   Those who are familiar with the Goddess Tara, usually think only of Quan Yin, or the White Tara.  Tara however, has many dimentions and manifestations, beyond just the boddhisatva, who was born as a tear from the Buddha's eye. 

I am deeply spiritual, sensual, sincere, playful, comtemplative and passionate…as well as silly and occasionally outragious.  I'm enjoying the dance and flow of this part of my journey.  I've experienced a surge in my desire and ability to embody both spiritual love and spiritual sexuality…I'm discovering a sense of authenticity and integration.   I am a student and seeker, as well as occasionally a healer and teacher. 

A real sign of how deep, full and interesting this part of my path has become…complete with the many shades of light and shadow…is my re-embracing of polyamory and expansive loving as a whole.  So far I feel I can attribute this to exploring the tantric path, and - as I call it - “getting my goddess on”.  This openness, has also awakened an awareness of my own bisexuality.   I am currently unpartnered, but seeing some people and exploring connection with them.   My Utopian vision seems to be a poly pod (isn't that right out of a story book?), but my spirit understands that  even one authentic, intimate, deep multi-dimensional relationship is a precious gift.  This page of my life is still in the process of being written, and I very much enjoy meeting folks along the way, who can add a few lines to the page…maybe more. 

As I continue to clarify my intentions to The Burning Oneness That Binds Everything, I am increasingly seeing the diologue between my deep Heart, and The Power that Be. 

…and in all this, there is still laughter, and silliness, and messiness and a humor that can still see the irony in things.
